How to Password Protect Your Album
Add a password to your public album so only people with the password can view your photos. This is perfect for private events where you want to control who sees your memories.
Adding Password Protection
- Go to Photos → Album
- Click "Customize Public Album"
- Find "Require Password for Public Album"
- Toggle it on
- Enter your password
- Click Save Changes
Now anyone visiting your public album link will need to enter the password first.
Password for Uploads
You can also require a password for guests to upload photos:
- Go to Photos → Album → Customize Public Album
- Find "Require Password for Upload"
- Toggle it on and set your password
- Save changes
This limits who can contribute photos to your event.
Tips
- Use different passwords for viewing and uploading if needed
- Share the password only with invited guests
- Keep the password simple enough to remember but not guessable
