How to Share Your Photo Album
Create a public album link so anyone can view your event photos. This is separate from the upload QR code - the public album is for viewing photos, not uploading them.
Enabling Public Album Access
The quickest way is right from the Photos page:
- Go to Photos in the sidebar
- In the Photo Statistics card, find the Public album section
- Toggle on "Public album sharing"
As soon as it's on, your public link appears with Preview and Copy link buttons. Anyone with the link can view approved photos from your event.
Need more options (customize the look, embed code, or a fresh link)? Click More sharing options to open the full Share Album panel.
The link changes each time you disable and re-enable sharing, giving you control over access.
Sharing Your Album Link
Once public access is enabled, you have several options:
Preview
Click "Preview" to see exactly what guests will see when they visit your public album.
Click "Copy Link" to copy the album URL to your clipboard. Share it via:
- Text message or WhatsApp
- Social media
- Event website
The link looks like: https://dashboard.fotify.app/public-album/your-unique-id
Note: This link will remain active until you disable sharing or generate a new one.
Customizing Your Album Appearance
Click "Customize Album Appearance" to personalize how your public album looks:
- Change colors to match your event theme
- Adjust display settings
- Control what information is shown to viewers
This helps create a cohesive experience that matches your event branding.
Embedding on a Website
You can also embed your photo gallery directly on any website, blog, or WordPress page. Toggle on "Embed on Website" in the Share Album panel to generate an embed code with customizable themes, layouts (grid or carousel), and auto-resizing.
Show Photos on the Upload Screen
Right below the sharing toggle in the Public album section is "Show photos on the upload screen". Turn it on to give guests a live preview of recent photos (plus a link to the full album) directly on the upload page โ both before they upload and on the thank-you screen afterward.
This is on by default whenever public album sharing is enabled, so guests can always discover everyone's photos. You can also toggle it from Photos โ Upload Page Design. See One link for uploading and viewing for more.
