How Guests Use the Public Album
The public album is the guest-facing gallery for your event. Guests can browse approved photos, select their favorites, download photos, and share moments - depending on the settings you enable.
How Guests Open the Album
Guests open your public album using the album link you share (for example from Share Album).
- No account is required to view
- If password protection is enabled, guests must enter the album password first
- Guests only see approved photos

Browsing and Viewing Photos
In the album, guests can:
- Scroll through the gallery
- Open a photo or video in full view
- Switch between large and compact grid layouts
- Filter photos (for example popular or selected filters, when available)
Selecting and Downloading Photos
Guests can use the check button on each photo to select favorites.
When at least one photo is selected, a sticky banner appears with:
- Number of selected photos
- Download selected as ZIP action
Guests can also use the download button on a single photo to download it directly.
Important: Download options only appear if you enabled downloads in album customization. Enabled by default.
Sharing Individual Photos
Guests can use the share button on a photo card or in photo view.
On supported devices/browsers, sharing sends the actual photo/video file. If file sharing is not supported, the album falls back to sharing the photo link.
Reactions and Comments
If you enabled engagement options (enabled by default), guests can:
- Add emoji reactions to photos
- Open comments and leave messages
These controls can be turned on or off in album customization.
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can guests download all photos at once?
A: Guests can download the photos they select as a ZIP from the sticky selected-photos banner.
Q: Can guests upload from the public album link?
A: No. The public album link is for viewing and interacting. Uploading uses your QR/upload link.
Q: Why does sharing sometimes send a link instead of a file?
A: Some browsers/devices don't support direct file sharing. In that case, sharing falls back to the photo URL.
