How to Enable Video Uploads
Guests can upload short videos alongside photos to capture the best moments of your event. Video uploads are available on Premium Event plans.
Video Upload Availability
Video uploads are automatically enabled on Premium Event plans. There's no setting to toggle - if your event type supports videos, guests can upload them.
To check if your event supports videos:
- Go to your event dashboard
- Look at your event type (shown in the event details)
- Premium Event plans include video support
Video Limits
- Maximum length: 30 seconds
- Maximum file size: 80 MB
- Supported formats: MP4, MOV, and most common video formats
On the Premium Event plan, guests can also share long videos (Films) of up to 5 minutes, with up to 50 per event. These are detected automatically during upload and collected in a separate Films section of your album. Otherwise, videos longer than 30 seconds or larger than 80 MB cannot be uploaded.
How Guests Upload Videos
The upload process is the same as photos:
- Guest scans your QR code or opens the upload link
- Taps "From Gallery"
- Selects videos from their camera roll
- Taps "Upload"
Videos appear in your gallery alongside photos and can be displayed in the live carousel. Note that long videos (Films) are the exception: they appear in the Films section of the album, never in the carousel.

Q: Do videos show in the live carousel? A: Short videos, yes: enable "Show Videos" in your carousel settings to include them in the rotation. Long videos (Films) are never shown in the carousel; they live in the Films section of the album.
Q: Can I download videos like photos? A: Yes, videos are included when you download all your event media.
Q: Are videos moderated like photos? A: Videos support manual approval - if enabled, you'll review videos before they appear. Note that AI moderation currently only works with photos, not videos.
Q: Why can't my guests upload videos? A: Video uploads require a Premium Event plan. Free and Photo Gallery plans only support photo uploads.
